  • LINDEL & SHAREEN FRATER

Shareen and Lindel, married for 19 years, now have 3 kids aged 25, 18, and 16. About 3 years ago, they took up pickleball as a shared activity, seeking something they could enjoy together. At that time, Lindel was deeply into golf, a passion not shared by Shareen. That’s when they started playing pickleball, and with COVID on the rise, pickleball was all they had.

They find joy in introducing newcomers to the game, valuing the freshness of their own learning experience. Being a beginner’s initial instructor lets them instill solid fundamentals and teach students the right way.

  • CONNOR SISCO

Connor began playing pickleball a little over a year ago as a sport that he and his wife could play together. He immediately fell in love with the sport and has been addicted ever since. He started playing competitively in March of this year at 3.0 and has now worked his way up to 4.5 level tournaments. He would love to work with beginner/intermediate level players as well as anyone looking to improve their offensive skills and strategy.

  • MARY ANN ADELMAN

Mary Ann Adelman began playing pickleball 5 1/2 years ago after playing Open level racquetball on her college team and afterward. She didn't think she would find a sport that could replace the adrenaline level of racquetball but she was hooked on pickleball after the first hour.

She started playing tournaments as a 3.5 level player and has been fortunate to do well, receiving medals in both Outdoor and Indoor Nationals, as well as other tournaments. She plays at the 4.5 level currently and is an ambassador for Pickleball in Benbrook.

She enjoys helping intermediate level players who want to improve their game by focusing on specific shot mechanics and strategy.

She and her husband John (who now plays also) have been married for 30 years and have a daughter, Meghan (no pickleball but a bronze medal equestrian rider/trainer).
